Our Leadership
Shepherds called to serve with humility, preach with power, and lead by example.
Pastor Okello founded Winner's Evangelical Ministries in 2004 after a divine call during a prayer retreat in Jinja. With over 25 years in ministry, he carries a burning passion for revival, sound doctrine, and church planting across East Africa. He holds a Master of Divinity from Uganda Christian University.

Pastor Miriam leads the worship and intercession ministry with a rare anointing. She has trained hundreds of worship leaders across Uganda and founded the Worship Academy at WEM. Her heart is to usher the congregation into authentic encounters with God.
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." — John 4:24
Elder David oversees the discipleship and cell group network of the church. With a background in education and theology, he has developed the WEM discipleship curriculum used by over 12 cell groups across Kampala and its suburbs.

Pastor Grace is the heartbeat of the WEM youth ministry. Dynamic, culturally relevant, and deeply rooted in Scripture, she has led hundreds of young Ugandans to Christ and shaped a generation of purpose-driven believers through the Power Youth programme.

Samuel leads the church's community outreach and evangelism efforts, including the slum ministry in Katwe and rural church planting in Gulu and Mbale. He coordinates short-term mission teams from partner churches in Kenya, Rwanda, and the UK.

Ruth manages the day-to-day administration of the church and leads the Women's Fellowship. A former banker with 15 years of experience, she brings excellence, order, and warmth to everything she touches. She also coordinates the WEM Annual Convention.

A History of Faith
Pastor Emmanuel Okello holds the first service in a rented hall in Ntinda with 23 members. The church is named after Philippians 4:13.
After years of trusting God, the church breaks ground on its own permanent building in Ntinda, seating 400 worshippers.
The inaugural Winners Annual Convention draws over 3,000 attendees from across Uganda and East Africa, establishing a landmark annual gathering.
The sanctuary is expanded to seat 1,200. New departments — Youth, Children's Church, and Missions — are formally launched.
WEM plants its first daughter churches in Gulu and Mbale, extending the ministry to Northern and Eastern Uganda.
Winner's Evangelical Ministries celebrates 20+ years of faithful ministry and launches its digital platform, reaching souls beyond Kampala's borders.
